CAER will generally observe Elk River District 728 late starts and snow days. In other words if school is closed, we will be closed as well. If you have questions regarding whether we are open, please contact us via phone.

CAER provides food, clothing, household and limited financial assistance for shelter, utilities and miscellaneous emergency needs for eligible residents in Sherburne and bordering Wright and Anoka counties if in Elk River school district 728. Ineligible persons will be referred to the appropriate food shelf or other agencies in their service area.
All households must be interviewed and complete an application with CAER staff in order to receive any services offered by CAER, including clothing and household. You will be required to have an address verification: a current bill or other mailing with your name, address and it must be dated within 30 days from today (All significant others and / or multi - family households or other adults living in the same household must also verify their addresses.) A signed release of information is also required.
CAER serves all persons regardless of age, creed, national origin, religious affiliations, gender, sexual preference, marital status, or disability.
CAER is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit. All contributions are tax deductible (as allowed by law).
